Yamaha Raptor 700 R

The Raptor 700 R is a pure sport quad. Its 686cc single responds instantly and the five-speed gearbox lets you choose your revs in every corner. On the dry Palm Grove dirt it steers with the throttle, which is why we recommend it to people who really want to ride.

Automatic quad

Yamaha Grizzly 700

The Grizzly 700 is the easiest quad we have. The automatic transmission means no gear changes and the power steering keeps it light even on stony tracks. It takes a passenger, so it's the usual choice for couples and first-timers.

Before you go

Good to know about quad biking

The terrain

Packed dirt, hard sand and dry riverbeds. The route avoids roads and passes through mud-brick villages.

Safety

The guide rides in front and a support vehicle follows. The pace is set by the slowest rider.

Best time

In summer, choose 9am or after 5pm. The rest of the year, the 4 to 6pm slot gives you sunset over the Atlas.
