Can-Am Maverick X3

The Maverick X3 was built for rally raids. Turbocharged Rotax engine, long-travel Fox shocks, full roll cage and four-point harnesses: it soaks up bumps at a speed that always surprises first-timers. You can swap the wheel with your passenger halfway.

Polaris RZR 1000

The RZR 1000 has a low centre of gravity and a smooth automatic transmission. It forgives mistakes and takes minutes to learn, yet keeps enough power for fun on the long straights across the plateaus. It's the cheapest way to ride for two.

Good to know about buggies

The terrain

Buggies use the wide tracks of the Palm Grove and the nearby plateaus, with views over the Atlas foothills.

Safety

Full roll cage, four-point harnesses and a helmet each. The driver needs a car licence.

With kids

A child from about 6 to 8 can ride as a passenger next to an adult. Tell us their age when you book.
