Marrakech to Merzouga in 3 days

We collect you in Marrakech in the morning and bring you back on the evening of day three. In between: the Tizi n'Tichka pass, the kasbahs of Ait Ben Haddou and the Dades, the cliffs of Todra, then the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi where you sleep under canvas.

Itinerary

The route, day by day

1
Day 1

Marrakech to the Dades

Leave around 7am. Climb through the High Atlas to Tizi n'Tichka, stop at Ait Ben Haddou, lunch, then Ouarzazate and the Valley of Roses. Arrive in the Dades gorges in the evening.

Day 2

Dades to the dunes

Walk in the Todra gorges, then drive via Erfoud to Merzouga. Late afternoon, camels (or an optional quad) to the camp for sunset. Dinner and music around the fire.

Day 3

Back to Marrakech

Up for sunrise over the dunes, breakfast at camp, then the long drive back through the Draa valley and Ouarzazate. Arrival in Marrakech in the evening.
